Social Mirror helps users analyze screenshots of online profiles and receive profile improvement guidance. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information We Collect

Social Mirror may collect the information you choose to provide in the app, including selected profile screenshots, chosen improvement categories, selected goals, and generated analysis reports.

Screenshots

When you choose to analyze a profile, your selected screenshots may be sent securely to our backend service and AI provider to generate your analysis. Screenshots are used to provide the analysis you requested.

Social Mirror does not require you to connect social accounts, provide social media passwords, or authorize access to Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, dating apps, or other platforms.

Local Report History

Completed reports may be saved locally on your device so you can view previous analyses and track improvement. Social Mirror does not require an account for this local report history.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Generate profile analysis and improvement recommendations.
• Show your analysis results in the app.
• Save report history locally on your device.
• Improve app reliability, security, and user experience.

Third-Party Services

Social Mirror may use third-party service providers for app hosting, AI analysis, payment processing, analytics, crash reporting, or infrastructure. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services.

Payments

If you purchase a subscription or in-app purchase, payment processing is handled by Apple and/or our payment infrastructure provider. Social Mirror does not directly collect or store your full payment card information.

Data Retention

Reports saved locally remain on your device unless you delete the app, clear app data, or use any available in-app deletion controls. Server-side screenshot retention, if any, is limited to what is necessary to provide and secure the analysis service.

Your Choices

You can choose not to upload screenshots. You can delete local data by deleting the app or clearing app data. You can contact support with privacy questions using the support email below.

Children’s Privacy

Social Mirror is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

No Platform Affiliation

Social Mirror is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Hinge, Bumble, Tinder, X, or their parent companies. Platform names are used only to describe the types of profiles Social Mirror can help analyze.
